El Nahual Tacos

Waaaa, this place! Monstrously delicious food super juicy rich tender stuffed overflowing flavours. Tiptop staff and prompt service. I dare say I gotta take my Mexican friends here. Could also be a gem of a date night. Try the three mixed tacos of your choice and omnomnom your heart away.

Stopped by El Nahual Tacos by Luis Hernandez for a quick taco fix and was seriously impressed. The spot has two entrances — the back one is just for takeout, in case you’re wondering. I ordered the taco combo with Al Pastor, Black Tiger Shrimp, and Acapulco Fish . Each one packed with bold, delicious flavors. Their house made tortillas were soft to eat. They serve the hot sauce on the side, and it had just the right kick. To go with it, I had their classic margarita with a spicy tajin rim, super refreshing and the perfect match for the tacos. For dessert, I tried the Carlota, a Mexican-style cheesecake, a balanced blend of sweetness and citrusy note. Everything I had was great. Loved the vibe, the food, ambiance, the whole experience — definitely coming back soon.

Surprisingly delicious, quick service, and reasonable prices. A must-try for taco lovers. I recommend the Carne Asada, Chicken Enchiladas, Black tiger shrimp, and Acapulco fish. Full of flavor.

This little restaurant is a nice little gem tucked away off Eglinton on Keele street. The restaurant front leaves a lot to be desired but in my experience this meant "Good food!" The interior is was very nice and modern, the staff was very friendly, The only drawback was there is very little seating - there are wall mounted bar tables but nothing else. I went around 7 on a Thursday evening and it was very quiet so I had no complaints. I started off the with a small chips and salsa. The dish came out very quickly and the salsa chips were amazing. The salsa was great itself, but I felt like I should have asked for it to be spicy - I like a little kick. I ordered the Black Tiger Shrimp, Al Pastor, Barbacoa, and the fish tacos. Now, I'm no taco connoisseur but these tacos were fantastic! Both the fish tacos and the barbacoa tacos were stand outs for me. The barbacoa was a fantastic mixture of the salsa and the beef. It was juicy, but not so much that the taco was dripping. I would definitely recommend this place, although it will be hard to get to with transit. You can grab 3 great tacos for $12.50 and I bet with whichever one you choose, you won't be able to go wrong!

Freshly made excellent food! Love the tacos, especially chicken, el pastor and barbacoa. Love the burritos and tres leches cake too. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend

Being takeout only, this taco spot's offerings didn't make it back home before being consumed entirely on my ride back home, leaving only the paper container in the end. Each taco is a bit heftier than the former, served on a single corn tortilla and topped with some creamy guac, among the basic accoutrements.

Great little taco spot on parliament. The owner has a beautiful soul and you feel it in the care put into the food and the space, would definitely stop in here again for some elevated tacos and drinks
